THE COMPANY
Our History
The adventure began at the start of the last century for the Landon family, in St Genest Malifaux, in the Loire region. In 1989, Jontrans was founded in Chambon-Feugerolles, near Saint-Etienne, as a logical continuation of over fifty years of experience.
Located in the dynamic Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, the company has enjoyed steady growth for over 30 years, marked by several key milestones:
In 2003, the company opened a second site in the Lyon area to support its ongoing development.
In 2017, Jontrans moved to Saint-Fons and became part of the “Vallée de la Chimie” (Chemical Valley), operating as a specialist in multimodal transport of chemical products.
In 2018, Jontrans received AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certification, following previous certifications including ISO 9001, SQAS and IST authorization.
Finally, in 2022, Jontrans implemented a fully digital fleet management system.
