On 5 and 6 September 2026, Jontrans drivers travelled to Montrond-les-Bains, in the Loire region of France, to take part in the Mille Pattes du Forez truck gathering. Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the event brought together road transport enthusiasts and industry professionals.

A shared passion for trucks

For this anniversary edition, around 60 trucks paraded through the streets of Montrond-les-Bains. From decorated and customised vehicles to specially prepared trucks, the gathering showcased the expertise and passion that drive the road transport industry.

Beyond the vehicles on display, the event was above all an opportunity for professionals to meet, exchange ideas about their shared profession and celebrate the pride they take in life on the road.

Events like this also help raise public awareness of the realities of road transport and the dedication of the men and women who keep the industry moving.

A gathering driven by solidarity

This year’s Mille Pattes du Forez event also had a charitable purpose. A fundraising initiative was organised in support of families of children receiving oncology care at Saint-Étienne Hospital.

This initiative gave the gathering even greater meaning by bringing together a passion for trucks and support for families facing difficult circumstances.
